📈 How do I open a new order in cTrader?

There are several convenient ways to open a new order in the cTrader platform, whether you're using charts, watchlists, or keyboard shortcuts.

🛠 Methods to Open a New Order:

1. Keyboard Shortcut

  • Press F9 to instantly open the Create Order window

2. Market Overview

  • Click the New Order icon above the Market Overview panel on the left side

3. Watchlists

  • Click on any trading instrument in the Watchlist

  • Select “New Order” from the dropdown menu

4. Buy/Sell Buttons

  • Use the Buy and Sell buttons available:

    • In the Market Overview

    • Directly on any open chart

⚡ QuickTrade (One-Click / Two-Click Trading)

If QuickTrade is not enabled, clicking Buy or Sell will open a confirmation window where you can:

  • Choose order type: Market, Limit, or Stop

  • Set volume

  • Add Stop Loss and Take Profit levels

  • Select or confirm the instrument

To enable one- or two-click order execution:

  1. Click the ⚡ QuickTrade icon in the platform

  2. Choose One-click or Two-click trading

This allows faster execution directly from charts or the Market Overview.
